KAITIAKI RIDERSA kaitiaki has many meanings that all relate to one specific term or meaning, Kaitiaki in translation is a Gaurdian, Trustee, Minder, cargiver or a Custodian.
Individuals can interperate a kaitiaki in many ways as a Gaurdian of the Sky, Earth or our own Whanau but most regard a kaitiaki as a Gaurdian of all living things or what ever may be important in ones life.
KAITIAKI LOGO/EMBLEMThe kaitiaki Riders SMC Australia Logo consists of multiple segments which have been in corprated together to from the basis of our club.
The endless circle housing all segments is a customised entity that has no end, signifying the endless bond, love and respect we have for all whanau, friends and those we are called upon to help, it explains who we are and where we come from and locks in the important factors that make up our club,
The Bikes are a symbol of the Tool we use to help others, to bring family and friends together and symbolsies what we love to do best and that is ride, in turn we help those less fortunate by conducting community charity rides and by also supporting other clubs and community organisation as and when required.
The Hawk is regarded as are many animals as a sky Gaurdian or kaitiaki. This was incorporated into our logo as "KAHU" my surname means Hawk. in summary all of the above was considered and brought together to form what is today the "Kaitiaki SMC Australia 2016 Emblem'
As the founding member and President of Kaitiaki Riders SMC Australia i consider myself as the Gaurdian and Protector of our club and all who fall under its emblem.

GENERAL VALUESHaving been a member of many great clubs and organisations i noticed a gap in the system within our community which required members of our community to step up and help oraganisations and community groups including but not limited to individuals requiring help whether it just be support or financial assistance.
Our vision is to help support others by utilising our bikes and club connections and organisations within the community to support and help those less fortunate than our selves, to ride as one unfied group to raise funds for those that require support and to care for those and show that there are people out there that care and want to help.
kaitiaki Riders SMC is a strong family based unit that promotes good home values and the importance of family (Whanau), kaitiaki Riders does not discriminate and although has strong Maori Values is open to all walks of life and all bike lovers and Riders. "Strength & Unity as One" is most important and from this "Kaitiaki Riders SMC Australia 2016" was formed and New Zealand in April 2020
